Serological biomarker discovery, verification and validation to diagnose and monitor disease

Dr. Jeremy Simpson’s lab, in collaboration with Dalhousie, is currently recruiting healthy male and female participants for the study “Serological biomarker discovery, verification and validation to diagnose and monitor disease”. The objective of the study is to identify new blood biomarkers to better diagnose and treat disease. We are looking for healthy male and female participants over the age of 40 years. This project has been reviewed by the Research Ethics Board for compliance with federal guidelines for research involving human participants (REB# 18-09-027).

Participation in this study would involve:

Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of four $50 Starbucks or Metro gift cards. Four participant names will be drawn upon completion of this study. With approximately 100 participants in the study, each participant has a 4% chance of winning.
